FESTIVE HOURS - The Festival Formula office will close for the festive break end of day Tuesday 16th December, and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2026. Any films or correspondance sent to us during this time will have a delayed response.
Filmmakers - please note:
We are only looking for films completed after 1st January 2025 right now - if in doubt always ask us. We are also only accepting live action, animation, and documentary short films under 30mins. We are not accepting features.
Our review process is as follows: One of our team will watch your film and provide feedback for free. If we feel we can be of benefit to your project we will invite you to book a video call with us (which is still free). You will also receive feedback if we are passing on your film.
Please note that our feedback is an assessment of how well the film can be received on a competitive circuit from our strategy perspective, and our ability to help guide the film. We’ll let you know we’ve received your film, and we aim to get all new films watched within 7 working days from date of confirmation from us..
